Eid prayers at the Stadium cancelled due to bad weather

Islamic Ministry has said that the Eid prayers would not be held at the Stadium area due to bad weather.

An official from the Islamic Ministry told Sun Media tonight that due to bad weather, the Eid prayer scheduled to be held at the Stadium has been moved to the Islamic Center.

The Ministry said that aside from the Islamic Center, Eid Prayers would be held at the different mosques in Malé.

Lately, the annual Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha prayers were held at the Stadium area so that a large number of people can take part.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs declared tomorrow as the Eid al-Fitr of this year earlier tonight.
