Man who stole a laptop sentenced to 30 months in prison

A man who stole a laptop has been sentenced 30 months in prison.

Ibrahim Shifan was sentenced after he was found guilty of theft from an inhabited residence.

The verdict from the Criminal Court on Monday says that Shifan has confessed at court that around 3:30 a.m. on the night of 31 March 2011, he stole a laptop inside a room on the sixth floor of Ma. Funamaage-aage.

The verdict also said that this is the second time he has been found guilty of theft.
