Teacher arrested for sexually abusing a student

A foreign teacher at G.A. Gemanafushi School has been arrested for sexually abusing a student.

Police Media Official told Sun Media tonight that a 40 year old foreigner was arrested under a court order for sexually abusing a student and the person’s remand has been extended by 15 days.

An official from the Gemanafushi School told Sun Media that the teacher arrested is being suspected of taking students to tuition and abusing them.

“Police suspect that the teacher took students to tuition and sexually abused them.” The Gemanafushi School said.

The teacher has been teaching at the school for eight years.

The School official said that the teacher has been working sincerely at the school and no other problems aside from this one.
