Man commits suicide in guesthouse in Mal

A man has committed suicide in Malé.

The police spokesperson told Sun Online that the man was found dead in a room on the ground floor of a guesthouse at Maafannu Hudhufasge, and the incident was reported to police at 1:00 p.m. today.

Sources have told Sun Online that the 49-year-old man was already dead when he was found.

The body has been taken to the hospital by the police.
