Dead body found near official jetty in Mal

A dead body has been found in the sea near the official jetty in Malé.

The police spokesperson said that the discovery was reported at 12:30 a.m. on Monday, and the body was immediately taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

No details were available at the time of publication.

The case is under investigation by the police.
