Police: Drugs were found at the scene of the accident where the young man died

Police have said that they found drugs discarded by the suspects fleeing the Police in Hulhumalé before they got involved a traffic collision and one of them died.

Regarding that traffic collision that took place night before last in Hulhumalé while suspects were fleeing the police on a motorcycle, the Police Media Official said today that the officers involved in the pursuit saw them discarding something while driving away. And the Police found six cellophane packets of drugs at the scene.

While one of the suspects involved in the collision died later that night, the other is still being treated at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital. Police said that the man has both his hands and legs broken at two places.
