A shopkeeper has been attacked and injured in a knife attack.
Around 11:27 a.m. today, the shopkeeper of Fenzy Store was injured in a knife attack.
A witness to the crime told Sun Media that the shopkeeper was attacked by a foreigner. And he said that the foreigner attacked in rage when the shopkeeper refused to give goods for credit.
“A foreigner who went to Fenzy Store to buy things. Things he took cost MVR 80. He claimed he cannot pay it and asked to give them for credit. And when the shopkeeper refused, he took a knife at the shop and stabbed the shopkeeper.” The witness said.
Sources say that the man has now been taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital for treatment And that the man had a large head wound and had multiple stab wounds on his hand.
