ADK Hospital establishes a dedicated desk for fever consultation

ADK Hospital has established a special dedicated desk for patients coming into consult regarding fevers.

Managing Director of ADK Hospital, Ahmed Affaal told Sun Media that the fever clinic service was established to make things easier to their customers since Dengue Fever has been going around lately.

He said that patients coming with fevers can consult doctors without having to wait in a queue.

“People who want to consult a doctor regarding a fever can go to that desk and they would take a blood sample and do the tests required.” Affaal said.

The dedicated desk established in the lobby of the hospital would be opened from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Managing Director of the Hospital requested that all customers consulting for fevers go to that desk.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) has advised that all citizens to take preventive measures against the spreading Dengue Fever.

The HPA has noted the rise in cases of the common cold and advises to consult a doctor a physician if the cold persists for more than three days.
