A Hulhumal

A Hulhumalé ferry and a diving boat have collided outside the Hulhumalé lagoon.

Police Media Official told Sun Media that the collision took place around 8:45 p.m. tonight and the Police are now at the scene.

Police said that there were minor injuries to a young boy during the collision but there are no other injuries reported.

The accident took place when the Hulhumalé ferry “Niyaama-06” collided with a diving boat that was coming out of the Hulhumalé lagoon.

Police say that the diving boat and the ferrry sustained minor damages during the collision.
