Five officers promoted to ACP

Five officers have been promoted today to the rand of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).

The officers promoted today were the Chief Superintendents Abdulla Navaaz, Ismail Naveen, Ahmed Mohamed, Mohamed Jamsheed and Abdul Mannaan Yousuf.

Out of the five, Superintendents Navaaz and Naveen are involved in informing the media about the protest rallies in Malé City.

And Superintendents Mannaan and Jamsheed testified against the former President Mohamed Nasheed.

Superintendent Naveen was the Head of the Central Operations Command. And Superintendent Navaaz is the Chief Executive of the Academy Isles of Police.

Superintendent Mannaan was the former Head of the Divisional Operations Command.

Superintendent Jamsheed was the Head of the Development Directorate. And Superintendent Ahmed Mohamed was the Head of the Service Support Directorate.
