Fahmy

The appointment by President Abdulla Yameen, of former President of Civil Service Commission Mohamed Fahmy Hassan as the new Maldivian High Commissioner to Malaysia, has been sent to the National Security Committee of the Parliament for review.

The appointment followed the resignation of Mohamed Fayaz as Maldivian High Commissioner to Malaysia on 27 May 2015.

Fahmy, who has also served the education sector for many years, presently holds the post of Deputy High Commissioner of Maldives to Malaysia.
