Ministry of Economic Development has announced that cafés and restaurants can stay open until 2:00 a.m., and shops until 11:00 p.m. during Ramadan.

This comes in a move to allow people to have dinner later than usual during Ramadan.

Cafés and restaurants have been allowed in recent years to stay open until 2:00 a.m. during Ramadan.

A recent regulation pushed forward normal closing time for restaurants and cafés from 1:00 a.m. to midnight.
