Man arrested at IGMH during theft

A man attempting to steal from Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) was arrested last night.

Police said that around 1:45 a.m. a 25-year-old man was arrested last night by the Special Constabulary Police on duty at the Hospital Control Room for going into the X-ray room and going through the counter attempting to rob.

Police said that when they saw the man, the Police went to the X-ray room and arrested him and turned him over to the General Investigation Department of the Police.

Police said that the man arrested last night has been checked more than 40 times on the road and taken into custody 26 times, detained 17 times and has been charged four times and has been convicted once.

And the man has a record for trespassing, vandalism, drug abuse, weapons possession, gang violence, multiple counts of theft and threatening a man to kill him.
