A Goidhoo boat leaves it

The “Nasru” boat going to Baa atoll from Male’ has left it cargo to sea after it started sinking and the boat’s engine was forced to a halt.

Police said that the Baa atoll police was mobilized when the report came in. And aside from the Police, MNDF and a Goidhoo boat is active in the area helping the boat.

The boat is now seven miles from the island of Goidhoo. The boat has a crew of two foreigners and local and the Police said that no one was injured.

Due to the bad weather, MET Office has advised not to travel unless it’s absolutely necessary.
