Two people who went fishing with a net has been found dead

Two people from H.Dh. Fiyori who went fishing with net have been found dead in the lagoon.

President of the G.Dh. Atoll Council, Ahmed Fahumee told Sun Media today that they found 53-year-old Mohamed Shihaab and 58-year-old Abdulla Daaud.

The Council President said that the two men left for fishing this morning around 7:50 a.m. and they were found dead around 10:30 a.m. They were found by someone who went out looking for them in a dinghy.

“The weather was bad when they left. A man who saw them going to the reef with the net went out on a dinghy to see where they were. Because something might happen since the weather is bad.” President Fahumee said.

He said that there was no movement when the man on the dinghy approached them. And when he brought the two men into the dinghy and took them to the health center and the doctor confirmed that they were dead.
