Dollar shortage problem solved, says Adeeb

Minister of Tourism Ahmed Adeeb has said that the price of Dollar has fallen against the Rufiyaa and the problem of Dollar shortage faced by many Maldivians some time ago, has been solved.

Speaking at an event at Usfasgandu to launch the Night Market, Adeeb said that businesses were growing and the country was experiencing significant economic progress and expansion.

Activities held to inaugurate this year’s Night Market included paramotoring – an extreme sport which involves the use of a motorized steerable parachute powered by a motor and propeller strapped to the pilot’s back.

Adeeb highlighted the importance of introducing extreme sports in island nations which are popular tourist destinations, such as Maldives.

He urged everyone to cooperate with the efforts to introduce such activities.
