MDP decides to include President Nasheed in the government talks

MDP has decided to take part in discussions with the government including the former president Mohamed Nasheed.

The members representing MDP were selected with the vote of the 42 members at the party congress.

Aside from President Nasheed, the member taking part in the government discussions would be, Chairperson of MDP, Ali Waheed and the President of the MDP Parliamentary Group, Ibrahim Mohamed Soalih.

Adhaalath Party also included in their President Sheikh Imran on their team representing the Party in the government talks.

Aside from Sheikh Imran, Adhaalath Party included their Vice President, Dr. Mauroof Hussain, Secretary General, Mohamed Iyadh Hameed, member of the Scholar’s Committee, Sheikh Mohamed Didi and the President of the Research Committee, Shidhaathaa Shareef.

Accepting President Yamin’s invitation for discussions, Jumhooree Party have also selected their representatives and notified the government.

Representatives from the Jumhooree Party are the Deputy Leader of the Party, Ameen Ibrahim, Deputy Leader and the MP for the Dhangethi constituents, Ilham Ahmed, Deputy Leader of the JP Parliamentary Group and the MP for the Kinbidhoo constituents, Abdulla Riyaz and the MP for Mathiveri constituents, Hussain Mohamed.
