Colonel Nazim taken back to prison after returning to the country

Colonel-retired Mohamed Nazim who has been sentenced to 11 years in prison have been taken to prison after returning to the country.

Officers from the Correctional Services took Colonel Nazim to prison when he cleared customs after returning to the country via Singapore Airlines around 11:45 a.m. today.

He was taken Asseyri Prison.

Colonel Nazim left the country for medical treatment to Singapore on 10 April. The day he has to return is by today.

Nazim was sentenced to 11 years in prison on 27 a March after he was found guilty of possession of a firearm.
