Maldives Meteorological Center has said that they do not believe the days of this year’s Ramadhan starting a on 18 June would be so hot.
And official from the Met office told Sun Media today that the months June and July are usually rainy months to the Maldives and so estimates that this year’s Ramadan would not be so hot.
“Won’t be so hot, we estimate rain would come. But some days would be hot.” The official said.
The current temperatures in the country are between 32-33 degrees celcius and the Met official said that it is a normal temperature. He said that Male’ feels more hot due to the city’s environment.
“Male’ feels hotter because this is a concrete jungle. And it happens when a large number of people live in a small space.” The official said.
Two months ago, Male Water and Sewage Company (MWSC) has said that the use of water is high because those were hot days.
