A Police officer walking on the street dragged into a house and attacked

A Police officer walking on the street has been dragged into a house and attacked.

Police Media official told Sun Media today that the incident took place around 11:10 p.m. last night.

Although some news media has reported that arrests have been made regarding the assault, the Police media official said that no arrests have been made in the case.

Sources say that the officer who was assaulted has been released after treated at IGM hospital. The officer sustained a head injury among others in the attack.

While an officer on the street has been dragged into a house and attacked last night, another officer was assaulted by protestors at the opposition rally on 1 May and has been sent abroad for further treatment. And some of the suspects of the 1 May have been arrested.
