Sun Online has been informed by a close aide of President Abdulla Yameen that a children’s event will be held at Artificial Beach at 4:00 p.m. today, to celebrate the President’s 56th birthday.

The President and his family will participate in the event, where gifts will be distributed to children.

Other events planned to celebrate the President’s birthday include a dinner organised by the staff of the President’s Office, and activities organised by senior politicians and businessmen.
