Dr Shaheem calls on Islamic Affairs Minister Ziyad

Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, who resigned as Minister of Islamic Affairs on 5 May, has called on Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr Ahmed Ziyad Bagir.

This was announced by Dr Shaheem on Twitter today, where he said that the purpose of the meeting was to provide information to the new minister on past projects.

Shaheem’s resignation came after Adhaalath Party (AP) had notified its members holding government posts, to resign from their posts.

Dr Ziyad was appointed as Minister of Islamic Affairs on 6 May.
