Private jet skids off while landing at INIA

A private jet has skid off while landing at the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA).

The incident took place around 4:50 p.m. today on the east side of the runway. The private jet came to INIA from Mamigili airport.

An official from the Airport said that the runway has been closed after the incident and no one was injured.

He said that since the runway has been closed due to problems with the landing gear, some flights will be delayed.

The Official also said that they are trying to open the runway as soon as possible and resume normal services.
