President Yamin and the First Lady receive warm welcome at Pakistan

President Abdulla Yamin Abdul Gayoom and the First Lady has received a warm welcome at Islamabad as they being their visit to Pakistan.

The President and the First Lady were greeted with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and a 21-gun salute with his arrival at the Islamabad International Airport.

The President’s office has said that President Yamin would meet with the President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain and the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif in his two day visit to Pakistan.

And official talks between the two countries would be held and discussions on the topic of improving the comradery of the two countries would take place according to the President’s Office.

The President’s Office also said that agreements between the two countries would be signed in the fields of sports, health, education and the fight against drugs.
