Dangerous traffic collision in Addu leaves two injured and one in ICU

Dangerous traffic collision between a pickup truck and a motorcycle in Hithadhoo, Addu City, has left three people injured.

Police media official told Sun Media today that in a traffic collision that took place in front of the Happy Zone store on Hithadhoo main road around 3:40 p.m. today has left two people injured and a third in the ICU.

The media official a foreigner and two locals were injured in the collision. And all three people are being treated at Hithadhoo Regional Hospital.

Police said that one of the locals is being treated in the ICU of the Hithadhoo Regional.

The media official said that the investigation so far has revealed that the motorcycle collided with the pickup truck when it pulled into traffic in front of the Happy Zone store where it was parked.

He said that both vehicles sustained multiple damages and the Hithadhoo Police Station is investigating the case.
