Man who involved in serious accident in Gan brought to Male

The young man in ICU after a traffic collision between a motorcycle and a pickup has been brought to Male’ City for further treatment.

The Manager of Gan Regional Hospital, Abdulla Hannaan told Sun Media today that the 19-year-old who sustained serious injuries to the head was sent to Male’ last night.

Hannaan said that the man is still unconscious and his condition is critical.

He said that the second man injured in the collision would also be sent to Male’ sometime this afternoon. That is also a 19-year-old and his condition is not too serious.

The accident took place at around 6:00 p.m. on Friday, when the pick-up truck and the motorcycle, both going in the same direction, collided as they made a turn.
