MDP announces Dhiggaru By-election Primary

Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has announced its primary for the Dhiggaru By-election.

In an announcement today, the party invited interested individuals to submit relevant forms to its National Secretariat before 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.

MDP also said that if the form is submitted by more than one qualified candidate, a Primary will be held on Monday.

The requirements were not included in the announcement.

MDP said earlier that it will collaborate with Adhaalath Party and Jumhooree Party, to have one opposition candidate run for the Dhiggaru seat.
