Saeed Alifulhu, poet and national award recipient, dies

Renowned poet and recipient of National Award of Honour in 2013, Saeed Alifulhu, Munich, Baa Dharavandhoo, has passed away.

Saeed did at the age of 79, in his home in Hulhumalé this morning.

President of Dhivehi Academy Ashraf Ali told Sun Online that a book of condolence will be opened and a memorial service will be held in Saeed’s honour.

The funeral prayer has been scheduled after Maghrib prayer today, Friday, 17 April 2015.
