Two people injured in Addu traffic collision where a minor drove a motorcycle

Two people have suffered serious injuries in a traffic collision in Addu City where a minor drove a motorcycle.

Police Media Official told Sun Media that around 3:40 p.m.today, two middle aged men were injured in a traffic collision in front of the City Council in Hithadhoo, Addu City.

And they are both receiving treatment in Addu Regional Hospital.

“Two people on one motorcycle was injured in that traffic collision. Details of the injuries have not come in yet.” The Media Official said.

Police said that the collision occurred when a motorcycle driven by a 15-year-old minor hit another motorcycle.

Police brought the minor into custody after he tried to flee the scene after the traffic collision.

In the past month or so, many dangerous traffic collisions have occurred in Addu City and many received serious injuries while others have died.
