Woman gives birth onboard sea ambulance

A woman has given birth onboard a sea ambulance going from Haa Alifu Uligamu to Dhidhdhoo.

Uligamu Council President Ahmed Ziyad told Sun Online that the woman was being taken to Dhidhdhoo Hospital ten days ahead of her due date, and both mother and child are in good condition.

She gave birth at around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, near Molhadhoo.
