Raajje TV arson suspect, now sought for assault

Police have announced a search for Mohamed Hassaan, 22, in relation to a recent assault incident.

Hassaan was earlier arrested on suspicion of involvement in the arson attack on Raajje TV.

Police said that the assault incident took place at around 9:00 p.m. on 4 April 2015, near Reefside on Chaandhanee Magu.

Police have forwarded a case against Hassaan to the Prosecutor General, in relation to the arson attack on Raajje TV.
