Vehicle involved in a traffic collision in Addu has fled the scene

A jeep involved in a two vehicle collision in Addu City has fled the scene.

Police media official told Sun Media tonight that a traffic collision occurred between a jeep and a motorcycle driving in the same direction on the Addu City Link Road near Addu High School around 8:50 p.m. tonight. And a man and a woman were injured in the collision.

Police said that the condition of the woman is serious.

And they are both receiving treatment at the Hithadhoo Regional Hospital.

The Police official said that the people in the jeep fled the scene of the collision and the Police are currently looking for them.

As of late, traffic collisions have been on the raise in Addu City. And some collisions have been fatal.
