15 days up and Dr. Didi is released

Former President of MDP, Dr. Ibrahim Didi has been released after the 15 days added to his custody period by the Criminal Court.

The 15 days given by the court on 26 March, the day he was arrested, was up yesterday.

Police Media Official told Sun Media today that Dr. Didi was released yesterday without taking him to court.

Dr. Didi was arrested after attending a demonstration after he was released under oath not to attend rallies.

After his release with the oath not to attend protest rallies, Dr. Didi said that courts cannot keep people from going to protests and he would file charges against the police when he’s arrested in the protest rallies.
