Sri Lankan Maldivian Music Concert to be held tonight

The Sri Lankan Maldivian Music Concert, a show organised by Maldives Music and Arts Centre (MMAC) to celebrate the ties between the two countries, will be held tonight.

The show will begin at 8:00 p.m. at Dharubaaruge.

Speaking to reporters at a press conference yesterday, Director of MMAC Ali Abdul Kareem said that the event follows requests by Sri Lankans living in Maldives.

He said that such shows are not held often enough, given the large number of Sri Lankans in the Maldives.

Local artists such as Kuda Ibbe, Ammadey, and Shifa will perform at the show.

Tickets, priced at MVR 200, are available from MMAC, Café Asiana, some hotels and salons.
