MDA member facilitates accommodation for Holhudhoo citizens

A member of the Maldives Development Alliance (MDA) has opened a five room building in Male’ for free accommodation for Holhudhoo citizens visiting the city for various purposes.

The accommodation was facilitated by the MDA candidate for the MP of Holhudhoo constituents in the last term, Ali Shathir, a citizen of Holhudhoo.

Speaking to the press after opening the building, the Vice President of MDA and the MP for the Kendhikulhudhoo constituents, Ali Mauroof said that the five room building opened by Ali Shathir is a great service to MDA.

“The way I see it, a service like this by a normal member of MDA is something we are very grateful for. So tonight, I send gratitude to Ali Shathir from the MDA leader, Ahmed Siyam Mohamed and the leadership.

Tonight’s ceremony also included presenting the membership forms of the new MDA members to the Party. The forms were received the Vice President of MDA and the Minister of Housing, Dr. Mohamed Muiz.

Ali Shathiralso spoke at the ceremony tonight saying that the five room building opened tonight would accommodate Holhudhoo constituents visiting Male’ City for medical and other important purposes under a set procedure.

“By god’s will, the accommodation here would be free. We will announce a date. It would go forth from that date. I specially want to involve the citizens of Holhudhoo in this since I’m a citizen of Holhudhoo as well. But other citizens in the constituents would also be included. This would be arranged by MDA.” Shathir said.
