Mahloof rejects condition set by court, remanded for 15 additional days

Criminal Court has remanded Galolhu-South MP Ahmed Mahloof in police custody for 15 more days, after he rejected the court’s decision to release him on the condition that he does not participate in protests.

Mahloof was arrested on suspicion of breaking through police barricades during a protest on 25 March.

He was initially given a remand period of ten days, and transferred to house arrest at the end of that period.
