Journalists of RaajjeTV released from Police custody

RaajjeTV journalist, Mohamed Visam and Cameraperson Adam Zareer who were taken into Police custody for disobeying Police orders in the protests have been released.

Sun Media have confirmed that the two journalists have been released although we haven’t been able to get a word from Police in regards to their release.

While they have been released, the extension period of the two journalists expire tomorrow.

Maldives Media Council (MMC) has met with all three journalists before their release from the Police custody.
