Certificates awarded to the participants of the 12th

Certificates have been awarded to the participants of the 12th “Blues of Youth” camp organized by the Maldives Police Service to distant the youth from crime.

At the ceremony held at Iskandharu Koshi today, the certificates were awarded by the Commissioner of Police, Hussain Waheed.

In this year’s camp held from 22nd to 27th March, 57 students from seven schools of Male’ completed the program. Two students could not complete the program due to medical conditions.

Commissioner of Police spoke at the ceremony today saying the Blues for Youth camp this year was a success.

“I want to note that the Police would always be at the front lines of empowering youth, provide good opportunities and create a responsible youth, with the government and the people.” The Commissioner said.

The Commissioner also said that the police are always ready to protect from crime and prepare the youth.

Certificates were awarded to the trainers and all who assisted the camp this year.

Maldives Police Service have been conducting such programs aimed to teenagers in Male’ and the atolls.
