A week has passed since the a group of masked men barged into “Lhiyanu Café” at the south west harbour and murdered the Banladeshi waiter with a sharp object, and the police said that no arrests have been made so far in the case.
The police media official said today that no arrests have been made on the murder that took place around 4 a.m. on 22 March.
While no arrests have been made in the murder case, two more attacks of Bangladeshi nationals took place in the past week and the Police says that no arrests have been made in those cases either.
Police media official said that all these cases are under investigation.
Aside for Male’, last Monday, a foreigner was found dead with attack wounds on his body. But the cause of death, either suicide or foul play was involved, has been unclear so far.
