Police have advised against threats to individual officers on social media.

In a press release issued last night, Police said that they would not receive any threats on individual officers with their pictures on social media.

Police said that those acts were being committed to create hostility against the constitutional duty of the police.

“So, we advised the social media users to be more responsible and not threaten the police or anyone else.” The press release said.

It also said that the police would work to find and bring those responsible for the threats on social media to justice.
