Man arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse of minor

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse of a 15-year-old girl in Fuvahmulah.

A police spokesperson told Sun Online that the arrest was made at 6:15 p.m. on Monday at the girl’s house, at scene of the crime.

The suspect has been given a remand period of 15 days by the Fuvahmulah Magistrate Court.
