MP Fayyaz released from Police custody

MP for Gan constiutents Fayyaz Ismail who was arrest at the MDP rally on the 6 of March have been released today.

The MP is being released after 15 days in Police custody. Police have confirmed his release.

MP Fayyaz was released when he was taken to court to extend his period in custody. The first time he was taken to court to extend his custody period, the court decided to release him with an oath not to take part in any rallies for 60 days.

But when he refused the terms, the court added 15 days to his custody period.
