Maldivian High Commissioner to India presents credentials to Indian President

High Commissioner of Maldives to India Ahmed Mohamed has presented his credentials to Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, at a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi today.

Parliament approved the appointment of Ahmed Mohamed as Maldivian High Commission to India in October 2014.

Ahmed Mohamed was appointed minister by former President Dr Mohamed Waheed. In the current government, he has held the posts of Commissioner General of Customs and Ambassador at large, at minister level.
