Nazim

The state’s anonymous witness got revealed by poor choice of words at the hearing of the former Defense Minister Colonel-retired Mohamed Nazim who has been charged with import and possession of a firearm.

Only one person testified at tonight’s hearing where the bench of three judges is residing over. The anonymous witness accidentally said that the investigation of Nazim’s case was conducted by him. Once it was clear that it was the policeman who investigated the case, the defense lawyers pointed it out to the court.

The judge’s bench also said that his poor choice of words has revealed his identity but no names were mention.

The witness testified that the fingerprints found on the firearm which was confiscated from Nazim’s home does not match the former Defense Minister or any of the police officials who conduct the search at his home.
