Driver dies at the hospital following a traffic accident after an epileptic seizure

The driver of a car dies at the hospital following a traffic accident on Majeedhee Magu which occurred after the driver had an epileptic seizure.

Police media official told Sun Media this evening that the accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. near the shop of H.A Brothers when the car crashed into a couple of motorbikes parked by the side of the road although no major damages were done to the vehicles.

Police said the driver of the car was taken to IGM hospital for treatment.

Sources say the driver, Ahmed Shafeeq, died at the hospital around 5 p.m.

Police are investigating further.
