Adhaalath Party has decided to speak the truth about the actions outside the constitution and the Islamic Sharia committed by the government and it’s institutes.
The party decided in last night’s meeting of their discussion committee.
The Spokesperson of Adhaalath Party Ali Zaahir spoke to Sun Media last night said 30 members took part in the meeting. But the Islamic Minister Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed did not take part in it because the minister was attending the “Raaje Miadhu” TV program at the TVM.
Speaking on VTV’s “Fasmanzaru” program however, the leader of Adhaalath Party Sheikh Imran Abdulla said the country is not going in the right direction and with the growing fear and chaos; it’s time every citizen stood up for peace.
Imran said that the actions of the government as of late are making the people uneasy. He said the government has narrowed the constitutional rights of the people and acts of corruption are taking place openly within the government.
While that has been said, speaking in “Raaje Miadhu” Islamic Minister Shaheem said that Adhaalath Party will not take part in any activity against the government. And voicing against the government isn’t on the party’s agenda but they will work with the government to resolve any concerns.
