A suicidal man saved and arrested

Police have saved a man attempting suicide with a knife and taken him to custody.

A 23 year-old male from inside a house in Shaviyani Funadhoo has been saved and taken into custody for attempted suicide, says Police.

The police went into the man’s house and stopped him even after he refused to let the knife go. The man was taken to Funadhoo hospital to treat his self-inflicted wounds on his arm.

The case is being investigated by the Funadhoo police department.
