One week into Jailam

Police have said that no one has been arrested in relation to the death of Jailam Mohamed Shakir, 24, who died after being stabbed on 21 February 2015.

Jailam was stabbed on the street, in the road opposite Dharubaaruge.

Doctors said that he had been stabbed in 12 places, including a deep wound on the right side of his neck. He was dead by the time he reached the hospital.

While no one has been arrested in relation to this incident, only one person has been arrested following the death of Ahmed Mafaz, who also died of stab wounds three months ago.
