Broadcom requests security for broadcasting stations

Maldives Broadcasting Commission (Broadcom) has requested Police to provide safety for all media outlets in Maldives.

Police media official on Saturday said that Broadcom has sent this request to police on last Thursday. The official gave no further details on the matter.

There has been no word from the Broadcasting Commission on the matter as of yet.

Broadcasters and Broadcasting Commission have met very recently to share information on issues to be cautious when live coverage of the political gatherings held in Male’ at present are being broadcasted.
