Seven-foot snake found

Police have seized a seven-foot snake from a house in Male’ City.

Following a police intelligence tip, Police said they executed a warrant on Thursday seizing the snake from the second floor of M.Light Garden. The snake was in a glass cage.

The snake was a seven-foot python, says Police.

While the case is being investigated by General Investigation Department, Police have so far seized an owl, number of snakes and other types of animals prohibited in Maldives under the operation conducted to confiscate dangerous animals imported and kept in Maldives.
